Tsugaru
Pottery has a huge production. Most of the ware use a mix of local
clay and shigaraki clay and all the kilns are fired the same way,
derived from Bizen firing style, with heavy charcoaling at top stoneware
temperature. Depending on the number of chambers, firings last 3 to
5 days.
